KL Food Trip

It's been 2 months ago, had my food trip with the bestie Xiao Tung together with her mum and friend of her. 

Our first stop which also the place we wanted to visit long time ago and we been there finally, Tous Les Jours !

Macaroons macaroons macaroons ! It's tempting !

Cream cheese danish & peach danish.

RM3.90 each.

BBQ chicken quesadilla, RM22.

It not big in size but it quite expensive.

Wolo egg benedict,RM9.90.

It's not yummy as i expected but consider cheap as compare to the one i ate at Plan B @ Ipoh.

Found this kind of double decker but are you sure it suitable in Malaysia that with such a crazily hot and sunny weather ? haha

Went to KLCC and Pavilion for food and window shopping.

Discover the footbridge which is super convenient from Pavilion to KLCC. No need to walk under the sun and hot weather.

Had our lunch at Pavilion's food court since we don't know what to eat there. Tried out my every first bibambap. 

Not to forget buying of macaroons as well at Komugi@Tokyo Street.

And Subway because do not have any branch in Ipoh so it's a must eat food for us.

Mekong Delta @ Vietnam (2)

A long hectic aka last semester of my Bachelor Degree life. Been neglected my blog for so long and finally i am a little free to update it. It is not about cafe but the Vietnam trip on last year.  

It also the last post about Mekong Delta.

We went to coconut candy factory. You can see there is a lot of coconut trees along the way to the factory. The blue color thing is to prevent other animal from climbing up to eat the coconut.

According to the tour guide, as a children you can forget birthday of your parents but you definitely cannot forget the date of your parents pass away. They do celebrate the date of parents pass away like we celebrate for our birthday. This date is important because without parents you will not be what you are like now. For those rich people or people who own farm will place the graves in the farm. This is nor applicable for those who live in city because there is not enough for them.

The tour guide said that their coconut candies are best but for me and my parents, we think that the coconut candies of Malaysia is better because of the taste.

Spotted a buffalo in the river. I used to see buffalo in everywhere of Kampar but i never seen buffalo in the river so i was so exiting for it.

Went to have our lunch which is included in the package of this trip.

Through the Google, we knew that this place is famous with fish but this is not included in the package, we paid extra for it.

They wrapped the vegetables, fish and noodles by the rice skin. It is recommended to eat together with the sauce provided.

The fish we ordered was steam but we intended to eat fried one but we doesn't know there is 2 ways of cooking it.

We were given a long time to walk around or cycle around there.

The last place we visited. A place that used to thank those tourists who joined the trip.  We served by fresh fruits and drinks.

The locals present us few songs which according to the tour guide that the song is about gratitude.

Mekong Delta @ Vietnam (1)

This week is not a good week for me because i fall sick, but luckily i feel much more better now so that i can continue to blog about my travel experience. This is 3rd post of my Vietnam trip. I bet many of you heard of Mekong Delta before because it appear in our history textbook, unless you never study for it :p 

The journey from Ho Chi Minh City to the Mekong Delta took around 1-2 hours by bus. 

As i mentioned in the 1st post that we found a travel agency to buy their package so that they bring us to the place we want. The package to Mekong Delta cost USD10 each person and it included the transport fees such as bus and boats and also included lunch. Besides that, they will pick us up at your hotel, this is so convenient.

They will let us have a short rest on the half way to our destination

We took boat to one of the island.

No doubt, the water is just like what i said before, is teh tarik, not the taste but the color.

Spot the little girl standing a side and intended to get money from tourists. As my brother said,don't give them money or else there will be more and more people come out to get money from you once they see you give money once.

First place we visited is the "bee farm", but in fact we just saw a box of bees there. May be there is hidden bee farm ?

The brave guy used his hand to get the fresh honey that with don't know how many thousand of bees on it . Omg !

The local served us with this. I think we paid for it which included in the package. Each of us can drink a cup of honey with lime and some snacks.

Pollen is available for sell there.

Royal Jelly too.

The small bottle is the royal jelly and the big bottle is honey. The honey is tasty and it really natural honey.

My Baba very scare of snack in fact but after he saw some other tourists tried and he wanted to try as well. Good job Baba.

We saw this unique tree when on the way to another destination.

2nd destination. We got the chance to take sampan.

The tourist guide kept remind us that not to put our hand outside of the sampan area or else our hand will get hurt by other sampans because the river is so small and it is so busy on the river.

The souvenir i bought at the post office the day before and coincidentally that the picture is match with the scene. 

We took 3 different types of boat / sampan on that day. 

Guess where we were going to after we changed to another boat.
